This year’s sessions will explore Rick Wormeli’s work. The first three sessions will focus on his book Fair Isn’t Always Equal; Assessing & Grading in the Differentiated Classroom. The final two sessions will also focus on the work of Rick Wormeli, but will not be centered around any one text.

The Mercer County Educational Service Center is partnering with Discovery Education to implement a four-year professional development initiative aimed at reframing the educational experience of every student enrolled in Mercer County public schools. investED Mercer County is an opportunity for seventy-five teachers to participate in the Teacher Leader Corps model of sustained, rigorous and job-embedded professional learning. This is designed to build the professional capital of teachers in the areas of 21st Century Instructional Practices & STEM, supporting student-centered learning, differentiation and best practice teaching.
